High end & Drugstore Beauty Haul

It feels really strange to be writing up a post after almost a year of not posting anything at all on here, but I'm super excited to get back into blogging! I've missed this so much and, as lame as this is going to sound, writing these posts gives me a type of happiness nothing else has. I thought I'd ease myself into it with a haul post.. and to be honest, I didn't realise how much new makeup I had bought until I had finished writing this!

Latest Lip Additions | HAUL

I know I've been a little MIA lately and tbh I don't even want to bore you with what's been going on so I'll go straight into this haul full of lipsticks! I've waited a few weeks to write this haul which means that I've had to wait a while to use these MAC lipsticks *cries*

Let's begin with the long-awaited NYX Lip Lingerie liquid lipsticks! There's something about the shade range that just made these lipsticks so unappealing to me, but they've received so much hype on Instagram and that's really the only reason I picked these up. I have the shades Beauty Mark and Teddy which are both browns, with Beauty Mark being a tad darker. 

These are a little drying (and I hardly find anything to be drying), pigmented and last a reasonable amount of time. They can also be quite patchy.. A full review shall be posted soon so look out for that!

I then decided that I needed more liquid lipsticks, so headed to the eBay website and purchased some ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips! I've wanted these for the longest time, but I really do regret not ordering them from the actual ColourPop website as it would have been a lot cheaper. 

I bought the shades Stingraye, Tulle, Kae and Rooch.

I'm loving the formula of these! They apply smoothly, are super opaque and are very comfortable despite the matte finish.

Soar Lip Pencil, Lipsticks L-R: Paramount, Whirl

A lipstick haul isn't quite complete without some MAC in it, so I ended up picking up Paramount (satin) which I've wanted for about two years now! I thought I'd give the Whirl (matte) lipstick a try also, and then Soar somehow made it's way into my basket, whoops! I don't think there's much to say about these as I think just about everyone knows what the formula of these are like.. but I will say I cannot believe I didn't pick up Soar earlier!

That's all the lipsticks I quickly purchased within two days during my quarter-life crisis *laughs nervously*. Let me know if you've picked up anything recently!
